The Center partners with several other organizations interested in economic and community development, including:

The Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development. The Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development is one of four regional rural development centers in the nation; focusing specifically on rural problems of the Northeast region.

The Hamer Center for Community Design Assistance is an outreach and research unit of Penn State University that focuses on issues relevant to the future of Commonwealth communities. The purpose of the Hamer Center is to provide education and technical assistance related to land use and transportation, community and economic development, the environment and quality of life.
